Board of Directors
RICHARD LLOYD
CEO AND INTERIM CHAIRMAN
Mr Lloyd has over 25 years' natural resources investment banking and mining geology experience and is a fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and the Geological Society. Mr Lloyd is also currently a Director and Chairman of Marula Mining Plc, a role he has held for the past 4 years, and where he has been instrumental in overseeing its growth strategy in Africa. Mr Lloyd was also a non-executive director of AIM-listed Goldstone Resources PLC, a West African focused gold exploration and development company.
RAKESH PATEL
COMPANY ACCOUNTANT (NON-BOARD)
With over 21 years as a Chartered Certified Accountant, Rakesh Patel has extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers, divestments and acquisitions, private placements, and stock market flotation. He has acted in over 30 AIM admissions and transactions. Interim / part-time Director to private and public companies. Mr Rakesh, was also a corporate finance partner at Adler Shine LLP, a London based firm of Chartered Accountants.
MARGARET MUDENDA
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (INDEPENDENT)
Ms Chalwe-Mudenda is a Zambian lawyer with over 25 years' experience in legal practice, financial services and regulatory affairs. She holds an LLB from the University of Zambia, an LLM from the University of Southampton and is a member of the Law Association of Zambia. Ms Chalwe-Mudenda is a partner at Chalwe & Kabalata Legal Practitioners and previously served as Director General of the Zambia Information and Communications Authority from 2010 to 2017. She has held a number of positions, including with Citibank Zambia, Madison Financial Services Plc and Zambeef Zambia Plc. She currently serves as Chair of the Board of Sanlam Life Insurance Zambia Limited.
RICHARD JOHN HAWKEN
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (INDEPENDENT)
Mr Hawken has over 15 years' experience in commodity sales, trading and marketing across Africa, including in senior management and executive roles in South Africa and the United Kingdom ("UK"). He has particular experience in the sourcing and trading of base metals and critical minerals across Southern, East and Central Africa, and has worked with UK and European-headquartered commodity trading groups, London Stock Exchange-listed mining companies and private mining businesses.
MARC NALLY
TECHNICAL ADVISOR TO THE BOARD
Mr. Nally is an experienced geologist and exploration manager with over 25 years of experience in mining and mineral exploration in Africa, South America and Europe.
Most recently Mr. Nally was a Non-Executive Director and consulting exploration geologist of AQSE-listed Marula Mining plc where he was involved in the acquisition of several advanced mining projects throughout Africa and also consulting exploration geologist to AIM-listed Tertiary Minerals plc with a particular focus on project generation in Zambia.
Mr. Nally was a founding Director and former Managing Director of Moxico Resources PLC, a private operating, development and exploration mining company that recently commenced copper mining operations at its Mimbula Copper Mine in Zambia.
